Hi! I’m Nima – I’m part of the 2018 General Management intake and am based in NHS Improvement, London. I initially intended on pursuing medicine as a career, and it was a King’s lecture on ‘Global Health’ that made me realise just how much exciting work goes on behind the scenes of front-line healthcare delivery and led me to undertake a degree in PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics) instead, with the intention of applying this knowledge to the health sector. I joined the Scheme straight from University, as I felt that it would allow me to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care as part of an incredible institution, whilst giving me the opportunity to continue learning and meet interesting, passionate people along the way. Stay tuned to see how it goes!
